Registration is now open for the 2020 Wine Marketing & Tourism Conference to be held in Eugene, Oregon from March 3-5. An expected 150 attendees will be participating from throughout North America and abroad.
“The purpose of the conference is to provide hard information about the critical subjects of wine marketing and wine tourism that attendees can bring home to both grow and improve their local offerings as well as providing a forum for meeting your fellow leaders working on the marketing and tourism sides of the wine industry,” explained Allan Wright, owner of Zephyr Conferences which operates the conference.
The two-day conference will focus on cutting edge topics in wine tourism, including the impact of craft beer and cannabis, diversity and inclusion in wine tourism, and the use of big data to drive results in your planning. There will also be industry “Sharing Best Practices” breakout sessions for wineries, wine tour operators, DMOs and winery associations as well as an opening reception, an evening party, and one lunch included in the conference price.
Attendees consist of wineries, winery associations, Destination Marketing Organizations, tour operators, hotels, marketing agencies, and media. Most participants are at the owner or executive level.
Local partners that have stepped forward to support the conference include Travel Lane County, Willamette Valley Wineries Association, South Willamette Wineries Association, 5th Street Public Market, and the Oregon Wine Board.
